Twin Line can be set to wash trains entering from either end of the wash bay.
Modular design
Our train washing systems consist of modular operating functions and are available in drive-through, rollover or combined hybrid models.
The systems are available in a brush configuration, contactless or a combination of both.
Brush pressure is monitored and driven by highly efficient TEFC electric motors. Sensing relays allow our intelligent brush configurations to sense and adapt to different vehicle contours and shapes.
This gives an incredibly thorough washing result.
Pass-through machine - washing for passing trains
Westmatic's state-of-the-art train washing system for passing trains combines an ultra-compact design with a revolutionary operating concept. The vertical brushes of the Westmatic drive-through machine move into the center of the wash arc and clean the fronts and sterns in an overlapping motion.

Rollover - washing for stationary trains
The rollover/gantry train wash system has vertical and top brush configurations that wash the front, rear and top sides of the carriages. Westmatic also offers a unique split brush design that provides an efficient wash for trains with catenary systems.

Clean & Green
Westmatic's train washing system uses less water, chemicals and electricity compared to competing systems. Our nozzles are designed and configured to use up to 50% less water while our highly efficient motors require less electricity.
